This also includes EPC contract workers. Full qualifications are checked in house and candidates are vetted, with DBS and background checks held on file where permitted subject to GDPR regulations.

Many of our candidates have a background in mechanical & electrical engineering, as well as renewable energy systems engineering and STEM backgrounds often having worked within the scope of long-term Asset Management / Operations & Maintenance agreements as well as in a third-party contractor capacity for asset owners.
Our global pool of energy talent can deliver experience across the entire wind asset drivetrain, including gearbox, main bearing and generator diagnostics, spectral oil / grease analysis, endoscope inspections and many other aspects of wind/solar/storage site construction, maintenance and transportation (including vessel operation) for offshore sites. In his spare time, Sundeep enjoys reading, playing football/badminton/chess, long distance running and travelling to new places - especially where there are hiking trails!
Sundeep Athwal the Managing Director of Energy Talent Recruitment ltd started his career in an ADR trading internship for the Bank of New York Mellon during his final year studying Finance at CASS Business School, the number 1 ranked business school in London at the time. He graduated on to a global rotation placement scheme in client management for S&P Capital IQ. Other notable experience includes having worked at Trayport, Updata and IHS Markit where he developed expertise in trading, risk and enterprise data management for Commodities, Equities & FX departments.
For many years he enjoyed travelling to a new country every week to meet with hundreds of people from different cultures, backgrounds and commodities companies; both big and small. The final part of his employment career was working at the largest privately held renewables company in the world; RES Group where he learnt an incredible amount about Wind Turbines, Solar Farms and Storage sites.
